1 kg tomatoes ripe and red
1/2 tbl spoon salt
1 fresh chilli or 1 teaspoon chillipowder or tabasco to your liking,
1 piece (ca.2 cm) fresh, finely grated ginger,
250 g organic sugar,
1/2 tbl spoon Garam Masala
lots of garlic, at least 5 big cloves pressed through a garlic press,
2 dl apple vinegar.
Generally I leave skin and seeds as they are good for a healthy diet.

This looks delicious. My sister makes a lot of different kinds of chutney. I've grown some decent tomatoes but it can be a problem. Thanks..when I get a bunch I'd like to try this- have a great weekend-
The recipe is a good one coz I am a tomato fan ha ha! With all those good ingredients, I am sure the taste is fantastic. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Oh, I prefer fresh chilly... I think it would make the chutney taste better ;-)
A lovely crop. I must try to grow some Roma Tomatoes as they are the only ones Bill likes. It sounds a good recipe. Must try it too.
Looks and sounds absolutely delicious.Summertime is busy with harversting and preserving. Glad you had a good crop of pest free tomatoes. I didn't even manage to pant them, as one gets older some things just get lost along the way.
A Happy Christmas to you and good health and lots of love throughout the coming yesr.
Arija.

My son would say, Wow!
