Today's flowers are a Daylily, not yet fully awake, cradling a Jacaranda blossom. It is early morning 4.35 AM . Summer is approaching, the scent of Brugmansia and Jasmin linger in the balmy morning air.
It is a dark red, velvety princess with a subtle scent.
Some of the Hippeastrums or Amaryllis have already made big seed heads.

These are gorgeous, just gorgeous.
Lovely post.Poor old Buff Beauty, just as well it was on a nice root stock that is just about thornless as well and a vigorous grower.
I have no idea what will survive this killer summer in my garden.
The lovely avenue of birches my husband has been nurturing for me for 16 years is already 4 shorter and a fifth quite large one sheltering a rememberance seat for my mother-in-law is fading fast.
Nothing after all remains for ever.
What a lovely selection.
These are just magnificent! I admit I envy (in a positive way) you when you say that you feel the summer. Bye and greetings from Croatia.
I like the language of the flowers!
